How do I install my bricks or paving?
We always recommend doing research regarding the relevant SANS regulations as prescribed by the SABS. We have put together a short Brick and Paving guide to assist our customers in taking care of their products after purchasing and to ensure that the customer makes the best choices prior to the installation thereof. It is available on our website here.

Please note that there are more detailed guides to brick, block and paving installation and care available for free on the internet. Our guide is based on queries and complaints we have experienced over the years and we do not take responsibility for any damages caused by improper transport and/or installation of our products based on our/or our employee's recommendations

How do you calculate delivery costs?

Our delivery cost is calculated on the running cost of the delivery truck (maintenance, repairs, etc.), the driver's wage and the current diesel price. All that adds up to the quoted cost per kilometer. This cost may change based on the fluctuating diesel price and other factors. Even if it is only 1 or 2 pallets delivered on a truck, the delivery cost will stay the same.


Can I collect the bricks myself?

All customers are welcome to collect their purchased bricks with their own transport or arrange transport with a 3rd party. If the use of a forklift is required, we do offer the service free of charge. All collections are subject to the terms and conditions as stipulated on our website.


Can I return a product?

Why can't I get a quote on Facebook or Google?

We always require additional information from the client to ensure an accurate quotation. Thus it is important to speak to a qualified sales representative. So unfortunately we cannot provide a quote/price directly on Facebook or Google, but if you send an email to orders@westendcement.co.za or give us a call on 011 851 1100 during business hours, one of our sales representatives will be able to provide you with all the information you require. Are there jobs available?
As per our recruitment policy, any available positions will be advertised in a local newspaper and the relevant contact details for that job will be in the advertisement. If CV's are sent to HR or Recruitment without applying for a specific position, we will safely store the CV or 6 months, hereafter it will be destroyed according to the POPI Act and our Data Retention Policy. You may also refer to our Privacy Policy.
