Diesel Mechanic / Semi-skilled Artisan

Job Description: Maintaining, servicing and repairing our fleet of diesel trucks and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Routine maintenance and repairs on fleet.

·      Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, breakdowns as required.

·      Preventative maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

·      Proven experience as a diesel mechanic.

·      Trade Certification an advantage.

·      In-depth knowledge of diesel vehicles.

·      Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Communication skills.

·      Valid driver’s licence is essential (Code 14 is an advantage).

Salary based on level of experience and qualifications, reference checks will be done.
